Conditions

Wherever possible, we discuss every request and issue with you in person before accepting the assignment. Generally, conditions are agreed and a contract concluded with the client on acceptance of the assignment. The contract includes provisions on our remit and powers (rights and duties), and our schedule of fees and charges (basis for invoicing). For example:


Assignment and mandate

  • E&C Investigation is commissioned to undertake work relating to the case
  • The nature and scope of the work to be completed
  • E&C Investigation is obliged to execute the work under the best possible conditions for the client in accordance with the maxim ‘loyalty to our clients’
  • The budget given by the client to E&C Investigation for implementation of the assignment must be observed
  • The legal venue for any disputes arising from a client relationship is Zurich.

Schedule of fees and charges

  • Billing is based on the time spent on an assignment
  • An hour will be invoiced in full if a period of 30 minutes has been exceeded, and a half hour will be invoiced if a period of 15 minutes has been exceeded.
  • The hourly rate will increase by 50% between the hours of 6 pm and 8 am, and at weekends and public holidays.
  • Expenses and cash expenditures, and costs for vehicles and technical equipment will be charged separately.
  • The basic fee will be charged for all administrative work, such as client meetings, briefings, meetings with employees, coordinating assignments via radio, telephone and in person, written and verbal reporting, compiling and editing reports, copies, etc.
  • The following payment methods are accepted: cash, American Express, Diner’s Club, Visa, Sumup, Twint, bank transfer, PayPal.
