As in previous years, E&C Investigation provided evidence (in the form of photos, taken at Hotel Baur au Lac). The photos showed that Swissfirst Bank’s rival incited employees to break banking secrecy.
Thomas Matter tells the whole story in his book ‘Die verlorene Ehre einer Schweizer Bank’ (in German)

Employees of E&C Investigation monitored the Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Leopold Gratz during his official state visit and subsequent private visit to Switzerland. Following days of observation, they were able to provide photographic evidence that Leopold Gratz had met Udo Proksch at Hotel Gotthard in Zurich in order to examine and exchange documents. The photo in question was printed by media all around the world and ultimately led to the resignation of Leopold Gratz.
